1999
We started as Río Claro SA with 32 Ha planted area in Los Antiguos, Santa Cruz.
Our first packhorse in Los Antiguos
2002
We opened our own Packhouse in Los Antiguos, Santa Cruz.
Río Alara S.A
2003
Rio Alara SA was created through new commercial agreements.
Our first packhorse in Tunuyán
2004
We opened our own Packhouse in Tunuyán, Mendoza.
Southern Crops is born
2009
Southern Crops brand is born to represent our values of quality and consistency
Agrelo project kick-off
2011
Agrelo project kick-off (104 Ha. in Agrelo, Mendoza)
New state-of-the-art packaging facility in Los Antiguos
2013
We built in Los Antiguos a new 2000 m2 packhouse at source, equipped with the latest optical technology for cherry’s sorting (UNITEC-Italy)
We keep on growing in Los Antiguos
2017
We reached 112 Ha planted area in Los Antiguos, Santa Cruz.
We upgraded Tunuyan’s Packhouse
2018
Expansion and upgrading of our Packhouse in Tunuyán, Mendoza, now equipped with optical technology for cherry’s sorting (UNITEC-Italy).
